 | Vision of Value: Campaign for Angus Reaches $7.6 Million in Outright Cash Gifts, Pledges and Planned Giving Commitments - In 2005, the Angus Foundation embarked on a fundraising campaign never-before attempted by similar livestock and agricultural entities. The Vision of Value: Campaign for Angus was the first capital campaign launched by the Angus Foundation and aimed to preserve our rich Angus heritage for future generations through an $11 million fundraising effort. The campaign, which concluded Dec. 31, 2011, raised more than $7.6 million in outright cash gifts, pledges and planned giving commitments. |
 | Briarwood Angus Farms, Butler, Mo., Purchases the 2012 Angus Foundation Heifer Package for $65,000 - Dr. Curtis and Ann Long of Briarwood Angus Farms, Butler, Mo., bid $65,000 on Jan. 11 to purchase the 2012 Angus Foundation Heifer, donated by Eddie and Connie Sydenstricker, owners of Sydenstricker Genetics of Mexico, Mo. More than $1.5 million has been raised from this Angus Foundation fundraising activity since its inception in 1980. |

 | Indiana Angus Association Donates $50,000 Gift to American Angus Foundation - In the December 2010 meeting of the Indiana Angus Association, the directors voted to donate $50,000 to the Angus Foundation to help support Angus youth during a future Indiana hosting of the National Junior Angus Show, a major event that attracts Angus youth and breed enthusiasts from across the country. |
